Trystan Williams Wins Round 1 CTR Youth Enduro Championship
On September the 29th 2018 CTR kicked off their Youth Enduro Championship with 2 races, Race one for small kids on mostly 50cc and play bikes, And race two for Youth on 65cc upto 125cc with a potential for 4 class’s of 65cc, 85cc SW, 85cc BW, 125cc, With 2 different tracks.
Just before the start Team CTR and all the riders did a few sighting laps to make sure everyone knew where to go, and after a few alterations the flag was dropped for the 40 minute kids race with Liam Regan taking the win from Danny Webster and Jack Watkins, Next race the youth Clubman and Experts with Trystan Williams grabbing the holeshot to lead from start to finish taking the overall wins from Sion Evans and Kian Thomas, Dewi Little won the youth Clubman race from Oliver Tiley and Jamie Giles.
It was a great start to the youth Enduro Championship everyone involved absolutely enjoyed everything about it thank you, next race end October .
Derek Bawn wins CTR XCC round 8
Derek Bawn led from start to finish at CTR’s Awesome Fan Farm one of the best Enduro Cross Country Loops in the world, Team CTR built a great Enduro cross country race track with 6 miles of very varied going of long top gear blasts, steep descents, jumps, hill climbs, stream crossings with the famous log hard loop section just before the end of the lap.
At the start CTR dropped the flag to release the riders first let loose the Experts with Derek Bawn getting the holeshot and Grant Churchward grabbing the Vet Expert holeshot, next set free the Clubman with Graham Owens grabbing the holeshot, Next released Vet Clubman and Over 50’s with David Carvell getting the Vet Clubman holeshot and Richard Holland grabbing the Over 50 holeshot, Last set free the Novice-Beginner class with Chris Williams grabbing the holeshot, so as all the CTR racers were set lose all eyes were focused on the lap scoring area.
Derek Bawn was the first rider around the lap in 12:52 with Vet Expert Grant Churchward hot on his tail with Chris Bryant Paul Biggs and Co not far behind, the next class leader around the lap was Jammo Jones from Ashley Sheppard and Graham Owens, David Carvell the next class leader leading the Vet Clubman around, Richard Holland Over 50’s was the next class leader around with the next class leader around was Novice-Beginner class racer Chris Williams.
At the chequered flag the hard Charging hammer Derek Bawn took the win from Grant Churchward Vet Expert with Chris Bryant in third, The Vet Clubman was won by Keith Hebron with David Carvell second and Toby Bevan third, The Over 50’s was won by the awesome Richard Holland who blew the rest of the class away, the Clubman class was won by Jammo Jones from Gavin Jones with Graham Owens third, the Novice-Beginner class was won by Chris Williams with Jack Hawkins second and Jason Kendall third.
